RoHS Directive 

The cable materials that we use conform to the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EY (Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances). 

The RoHS Directive 2002/95/EY (Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances) restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products. From 1st July 2006, all no equipment entering the market may contain forbidden substances stated in the directive.  

The RoHS Directive restricts the use of the following substances according to set limits in homogeneous materials:  

• cadmium 0.01 p-%  
• mercury 0.1 p-%  
• lead 0.1 p-%
• hexavalent chrome 0.1 p-%  
• bromated fire retardants PBB and PBDE 0.1 p-%
