Fasten and fix the drum during the transport:

Drums have to be fixed (with wedges) and tied up properly with slings or chains. This is to prevent movement of drums during transport.

Wedges should be fastened with nails to the platform.

Loading should start from the front and the first drum should lean towards the front edge. Remember to pay attention to the axle weight!

When drums are in-line, flanges have to be straight against each other. This way flanges do not harm the cable itself. Use wooden blanks if drums are different sizes.

Drum should mainly be tied up with slings from the center (use at least three slings.)

When using slings, keep in mind that arbor hole could damage it -> Use protectors like, for example, cardboard.
