Other things to keep in mind:

Always nail boards carefully straight to the drum flange.

Pay attention to the nail length.

 

Never drop the drum from truck!

Always try to lift the drum with a fork lift or a sling.

You can also offload your cargo by using higher grounds or, for example, loading bridge.
