Colleagues hard as nails

- Toni, Packer

After completion of his military service in 2000, Toni worked at construction sites. In 2001 he applied for a job at the new packaging center at Reka’s facility in Keuruu, and immediately started work as a packer. Four years later, Toni was transferred to the dispatch department, and is now in charge of domestic deliveries and purchasing transport services. See what Toni says.

Load optimisation rewarding

In the case of large orders, loads should be calculated so that they are sensible. Load handling must be easy for the customer, and consignments must be at the right place at the right time. Sometimes Toni also takes care of export in addition to domestic deliveries.

Work mates are also social companions

When many different people are working in one place, the atmosphere can vary. But Toni has nothing bad to say about his work at Reka. "My colleagues are a fantastic bunch - as hard as nails", says Toni. From time to time, he goes fishing with a few of his work mates.

Further education in mind

Reka has encouraged Toni to engage in further education, and, in the near future, he intends to begin studying in addition to work. He plans, however, to hold on to his job at Reka for as long as possible.
