More efficient planning through experience
- Anssi, Supervisor

More efficient planning through experience Anssi took a machinists’ course at vocational college, and, at the request of a school mate, joined Reka in 1988. It was not possible for him to learn his job at Reka on the machinists’ course - or anywhere else for that matter – but he certainly did learn the job. After working initially in the PVC Department, in 1992 Anssi was transferred to insulation machinery, in 1999 he became a CV operator at Riihimäki, and in autumn 2008, he was promoted to supervisor.    See what Anssi says.

Production planning and organising things

Anssi is presently in charge of 20 people. In addition to production planning, he takes care of the human resources matters of his subordinates and also takes part in production development.

The benefits of work experience for a supervisor

Anssi’s long experience as a CV operator has been of great benefit to him in production planning, and helps boost the efficiency of production. Anssi admits, however, that, in the role of supervisor, he still has many new challenges to overcome.

Football tours of most interest

Sometimes Anssi accompanies his work mates to the shooting range, or maybe just for a coffee, but the memories he most cherishes are of his trips with his colleagues to the finals of the football European and World Championships.
